Josh Mooney powered the Roswell Invaders (18-7) at the plate and on the mound Saturday, willing the Roswell Invaders to a 7-3 victory over the Alpine Cowboys.

Mooney racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Roswell Invaders. He tripled in the seventh inning.

Mooneys 10 strikeouts helped the Roswell Invaders to the victory. Mooney allowed two earned runs on five hits and two walks over nine innings.

The Alpine Cowboys (21-6) jumped out to an early lead, but they were unable to hang on. The Alpine Cowboys were ahead until the seventh inning, but the Roswell Invaders would not be denied the win, taking the lead back on a three-run triple by Mooney.

Austin Prott racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Alpine Cowboys. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Pat Lemmo pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks while striking out one.

Ryan Richardson (1-1) took the loss for the Alpine Cowboys. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
